A new treatment unit moves in
A new treatment unit has moved in with us: a KaVo ESTETICA E70. Setting it up offered a view you never get again: its inner workings of tubes, valves and electronics. Once it was up and running, the whole team received thorough training - from the controls to the new handpieces and contra-angles. For you, this means treatment at the current state of the art - precise and comfortable.
Digital functional diagnostics with Zebris
We measure jaw movements digitally with the Zebris system - for precise diagnostics of jaw joint disorders (TMJ) and for functionally designed restorations. With us, modern technology always goes hand in hand with training: the whole team practises in-house on the Zebris system and the intraoral scanner until every step is second nature. After all, you can only trust technology once you have truly mastered it - and it is exactly this confidence that we pass on to you.
ClearCorrect congress in Hamburg
Our entire team - the apprentices, of course, included - flew to Hamburg together for the ClearCorrect congress on invisible teeth straightening. Two days of specialist lectures, new approaches to treatment planning and plenty of exchange with colleagues. With us, further training involves the whole team - because your treatment works best when everyone speaks the same professional language. And the evening above the rooftops of Hamburg? We had earned it.
Digital also means: work behind the scenes
A fully digital practice is more than modern technology in the treatment room. Behind the scenes there is a great deal of invisible work - Germany’s healthcare telematics infrastructure, the connector, the electronic health professional card, PINs and certificates. On top of that comes our own practice network with structured Cat 7 cabling and an uninterruptible power supply, so that not even a power cut puts any data at risk. We take care of all this so that everything runs smoothly and securely for you.
Annual conference of the regional dental chamber in Rust
We attended the annual conference of the regional dental chamber in Rust together, staying overnight: two days of specialist programme spanning all of dentistry - plus the conversations that only happen when nobody heads home in the evening. We rounded it off together at Europa-Park, with the apprentices leading the way. Days like these pay off twice over: professionally for each of us, and personally for all of us. Because a team only gets better together.
Safely reprocessed - hygiene you don’t see
Every instrument used in your treatment has first been through a fixed, documented process: mechanical cleaning and disinfection in the thermal washer-disinfector, inspection, packaging and then sterilisation in the autoclave at 134 °C. The handpieces and contra-angles are likewise reprocessed fully automatically and packaged individually. This is work you never get to see in the treatment room - and that is precisely why we tell you a little about it.
Splints and restorations made in-house
With our vhf milling machine and the 3D printer (Straumann/Rapid Shape), we produce splints and restorations in-house whenever needed - straight from the digital scan into production, without impression material and without shipping. For you, this means fewer appointments, shorter waiting times and a quality that we keep in our own hands from start to finish. And for our team, it is the finest piece of craftsmanship in everyday digital work.
